2018-19 Destination Deep Space
Well, we have finally come into our own. We have grown to 11 members and got help with our electronics before Stop Build day. We even participated in two practice sessions with Team 3959 Mech Tech. They also loaned us two mentors for some meetings to help us get the robot up and running.
Our improvements this year included an electronics module for the robot, a drive station for joysticks and laptop, a battery charging station, a robot cart, more tools (thank you Rotary Club!), and actually being able to drive the robot before Stop Build day.
We ranked 18th out of 55 teams, were the highest-ranked team out of all 4 HCS teams, and the third highest ranked team in the state. Overall a successful year.
