2022-23 Charged Up
We started our year again with a recruitment blitz. We would ideally have up to 20 students on the team.
Goals for this season:
"Aim for Knowledge"
Gain enough team members to have a team of 20 or more students.
Form subteams for electronics, programming, mechanisms, etc.
Have 40% or greater female students on the team.
Involve students on the business end of the team - fundraising, grants, etc.
Train new team members on Solidworks, C++ programming, and our manufacturing equipment.
Have all new team members drive our past robots for practice.
Dismantle old robots and design and build mechanisms for practice.
Build a robust robot for the Charged Up season that can perform all game challenges.
Go to an out-of-state competition in addition to our local regional.
Design a game used as marketing for our team (to be handed out at events)
Come up with a team award to give to other teams at events
Build playing field components.
Create our own Stop Build day and meet it with a robot we can drive.
Prepare for and attempt to win awards.
Participate in the championship matches.
